I heart epidurals

He's here! We are so thankful that everything went well yesterday with being induced. He's huge... we were shocked that he was 10 pounds 10 ounces, 23 inches long! I feel like he skipped the newborn stage and went straight to 2-3 months:)

We've only been able to spend about 5 minutes with him thus far. He had a temperature and some oxygen problems so they had to take him for observation throughout the night. We are hoping that he can come and hang out with us in the next hour or so!

You're beautiful! Good job pushing that big boy! He almost put both of my girls in the preemie category! :)

oh, I am so thrilled to see this post. I agree, you do look beautiful. I cannot believe that you look like that after delivering a baby!! And I cannot believe that a 10 lb 10 oz baby came out of you when you were still looking so tiny!! Way to go pushing him out. Yeah, my little 7 lb babies are miniature compared to him. I hope you are getting rest, and I will pray that Henry can be with you soon. Love you!!!

oh, a few more comments.

What time was he born? And, I just noticed your title. Love it. I, too, "heart" epidurals, and I only birth 7 lb babies:)

Anna, you looked beautiful and I can't believe how big he was!!! I thought Will was big but he was only 9 lbs 14 oz. Congrats and I hope you have a good transition bringing your sweet baby home!

You definitely don't look like you just had a long day of labor!! Did you end up having to have a c-section? I'm guessing you didn't. I can't wait to see more pictures of Henry and really hope and pray his fever ends soon! Love you!
